Since The Hair Extension Boutique is an independent hair extension specialist, we are not tied under the umbrella of any other company or brand of extensions such as Great Lengths, Racoon or Cinderella Hair Extensions. This allows us to buy hair directly from the suppliers, and ensures that we can always source the finest quality hair.

Superior Quality Hair

Due to the superior quality of our European, Moldovan and Virgin Russian hair, it can be reused for multiple reapplications without deteriorating in quality, which significantly lowers the cost for subsequent fittings since you do not need to keep paying for a completely new set of hair extensions.

Ethically Sourced Cuticle Aligned Hair

Salons that are tied under the name of large hair extension brands have to use their hair and products in order to use their name, but unfortunately the hair is not always the best quality.

At the Hair Extension Boutique we believe in perfection, and that is why we insist on using only the very best real hair available. You may choose from our finest unprocessed genuine European, Moldovan or Virgin Russian human hair. Our suppliers only select the best quality healthy hair, and will reject any poor quality hair. All the hair is ethically sourced and payment is made to the donor of the hair. It is collected by drawing the hair in to a ponytail and then taking a raw cutting. Hair collected in this way is referred to as being 'cuticle correct'. This means that the cuticle remains intact and the hair is aligned in its original root to tip position.

All our hair is available in lengths from 10” – 22”.

Single and Double Drawn Hair

All our hair is double drawn.

This means each bundle of hair contains only hairs of the same length, and all the shorter hairs have been removed. For example, a bundle of 16 inch double drawn hair would contain only hairs which are 16 inches in length. This means that once the hair extensions have been applied they will be thick and full right the way to the tips. Single drawn hair only has the very shortest hairs removed, but still contains hairs of different lengths in each bundle. So a bundle of 16 inch single drawn hair would contain hairs of 10”, 12”, 14” and 16” etc., and looks tapered towards the tips. Once applied single drawn hair extensions tends to appear thinner and straggly towards the ends of the hair.

European Hair

You should not confuse the terms 'Euro Hair' or 'European Style' hair with genuine European hair. Our European hair is the finest hair you can find. It is beautifully glossy, extremely soft, fine in texture, and is naturally wavy. Besides colouring the hair to produce a wider range of colours, it is left unprocessed and remains in its natural, healthy condition. This hair comes from Southern European countries such as Italy and Spain.

Moldovan Hair

This exceptionally high quality hair comes from Eastern Europe in the country of Moldova. It is naturally very straight, beautifully silky, very strong and extremely durable. Naturally this hair is very dark but is specially dyed to produce a wide range of colours. It is similar in texture to Russian hair, but is slightly heavier and denser per strand.

Virgin Russian Hair

Our Virgin Russian hair is the most exclusive hair. This is the 'creme-de-la-creme' of hair - the finest of hair extensions. This is the hair that A-List stars and celebrities wear. Genetic and climatic factors contribute to this hair being the most beautiful hair in the world. It is incredibly soft and shiny, and when you feel it, it can only be described as silk. If you only want the very best, then this hair is the ultimate. The hair is collected from the Cold Siberian regions and Northern territories of Russia and remains in its raw, purist state - it has never been coloured or chemically treated in any way. All the colours are natural and it is available straight or naturally wavy. This hair is rare but very sought after. Very few hair extension artists use it because genuine Russian hair is extremely difficult to source. However, at The Hair Extension Boutique, we are lucky enough to be able to offer this supremely luxurious hair to our clients.
